Saying the wrong thing, at the right place, at the right time

Citizen Yeimo was amongst 300 protesters who had gathered Wednesday in the eastern province of West Papua.
As the  demonstration was taking a turn for the worse, according to Human Rights Watch, Yeimo admitted:

“Many at the gathering were unaware that a  declaration of independence would be read. I didn’t agree with it either, I would prefer a referendum.”

Yeimo is admittedly a spokesman for the West Papua National Committee.
