You don’t wanna miss a thing

Entertainment group Ismaya Live on Sunday revealed that legendary rock band Aerosmith will play a show in Indonesia on May 11.

Ismaya Live disclosed the news on its Facebook and Twitter pages around 3 p.m. on Sunday. The concert host was unreachable for comment late Sunday afternoon. Information about ticket prices and venue has not been released.

The award-winning American rock band Aerosmith — comprised of singer Steven Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton and drummer Joey Kramer — has sold more than 150 million albums since the band formed in 1970. Tyler and Perry in February were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and are known for hits such as “Dude (Looks Like a Lady),” “Walk This Way,” “Janie’s Got a Gun” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”

The band’s May 11 show is part of its Global Warming World Tour, which includes stops in Australia and New Zealand ahead of its Indonesia concert.

Ismaya Live recently brought indie band Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Jakarta on Feb. 1. On March 20, it will host Bloc Party at Jakarta’s Tennis Indoor Senayan venue.
