Minister Condemns Taliban’s Attack On Pakistan School
In a statement made available to Indonesia’s Antara news agency on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry described Tuesday’s killing as an “inhuman act that could not be tolerated”.
The ministry expressed its condolences and deep concern over the deaths of the victims including children.
“The Indonesian government gives its support to the people and government of Pakistan in facing this difficult time,” it said.
The ministry advised all Indonesians in Pakistan to remain vigilant and ensure their safety.
Reuters reported that Taliban gunmen broke into the school in Peshawar city and killed at least 132 students and nine staff members.
